Guest-ing (bertamu)

There aren't many people I've met that could affect me so much as that certain Mr, Realrich I met today. The visit to his studio as our end of year trip was surprisingly enlightening. It never occurred to me that one could bring that much amount of playfulness into leadership and still function. The office/studio reflects the creative leadership the chief architect value so much, and it is creative leadership at its finest.
Painted driveway, pull up poles, a hammock, smiley face doorknob, round doors and custom made table tennis tables, javanese themed project briefings where everyone must bring about their presentations in javanese, treehouses, winerack where they put syrup bottles in too, porcupine office pet, styrofoam made pinups, valentines day 'discussion', free dental fee if they consult with the chief architect's girlfriend who is a dentist. His laid-backness and humility inspires his employees, and it shows. There seems to be an unprecedented low rate of ego in this young architecture firm and it is to me delightfully admirable. What a lesson, what a place.
